Role Summary
This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a dynamic collaboration within the Probation Dependency and Recovery initiative, guided by Ingeus. Our services are specifically designed to meet the personalized needs of adult male clients involved in community orders and post-release supervision as part of the probation framework.

The chosen candidate will be based in a regional office but will need to travel to various locations within the designated area. Efforts will be made to assign a location that is convenient to your residence.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

As a Lead Recovery Consultant, you will provide case management and interventions aimed at fostering resilience and adaptability. You will maintain a professional relationship with the National Probation Service (NPS) Responsible Officer to assist clients in their dependency and recovery processes while offering supervisory support to Recovery Navigators. Recovery Navigators deliver comprehensive support to clients on an individual basis, focusing on achieving positive outcomes through tailored case management, risk assessment, and building trust through face-to-face interactions. Your role will involve motivating clients to understand and manage their recovery needs, equipping them with skills for healthier living, and facilitating their engagement with treatment services. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Recovery Guides, Recovery Champions, Team Managers, and community support services.

Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain a professional relationship with the Responsible Probation Officer (RO) to guide clients through individual and group interventions. Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, ensuring continuity and consistency in support. Provide tailored advice and support to clients with varying levels of complexity. Collaborate closely with Recovery Guides and Recovery Champions. Conduct initial assessments for all referred clients to determine the necessary level of support for their well-being journey. Develop and agree on personalized action plans following assessments, regularly reviewing progress with clients. Manage a diverse caseload of clients, addressing medium to high complexity needs in accordance with referral information. Deliver high-quality individual and group interventions and skills training to meet identified needs. Provide advocacy, information, and guidance to address client needs. Conduct sessions in various settings, including community venues and probation offices. Communicate effectively with treatment services and support networks. Guide clients to engage with mainstream services for ongoing support. Collaborate with integrated support partners to achieve successful outcomes. Refer clients to appropriate agencies as needed and monitor their progress. Understand and apply risk assessment principles relevant to the role. Achieve performance outcomes in line with contractual KPIs. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Dependency & Recovery services. Remain vigilant and responsive to any changes that may indicate increased risk of harm. Address challenging behaviors effectively to ensure safety for clients and staff. Document interactions and progress accurately, reporting to Responsible Officers and Recovery Navigators. Collaborate with the RO to contribute to risk management plans and case reviews. Foster effective relationships with relevant agencies, promoting collaboration and joint efforts. Work alongside Ingeus to align service delivery with the final service specifications. Engage in staff training to ensure a consistent service experience for clients. Perform any other duties that are reasonably within the scope of the role. About Humankind
