Person Requirements:

  • Time served site services or facilities engineer, preferably from the FMCG Industry.
  • People and Performance Management experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing and engineering sector and be accustomed to fast-paced environments.
  • Work in partnership with Factory Managers, facilities team, engineering team, team leaders, planners, and other areas to carry out repairs to facilities equipment and plant machinery.
  • People Management and Performance Management - implement plans to improve performance of underperforming colleagues, as well as career development plans to recognize top performers.
  • Managing and directing contractors, ensuring standards and budgets are met.
  • Become competent and agile with the use of the internal CMMS, supporting preventative and daily team maintenance activity.
  • Set an example to the wider team on best practice and actively challenge behaviors.
  • Manage the team of facilities technicians, Team Leaders, and coordinators.
  • Carry out planned inspection routes on facilities plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
  • Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
