Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team at Randolph Hill Nursing Home. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional clinical nursing to all residents while delivering strong leadership and supporting the Home Manager in the daily running of the Nursing Home.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Supervise and support junior staff where appropriate through effective leadership
  • Delegate daily workload in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of manpower
  • Maintain correctly written records and individual care plans as required by the company and statutory bodies
Requirements
  • 12 months post-graduate experience in a care of the elderly setting, preferably in a nursing home, hospital, or community-based environment
  • Experience of working with elderly people with dementia delivering clinical support in this area
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, especially report writing, and care planning
  • Ability to provide advice and guidance to internal staff, residents, and their relatives in a sensitive manner
  • Problem-solving and management skills to effectively handle diverse situations within a nursing home setting
