The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive IT Systems Administrator to become a vital part of our Technology Team. This position presents a unique chance for a driven individual to advance their career within a dynamic financial technology environment.

In this role, you will have the chance to lead and manage projects from the outset. You will report directly to senior leadership and engage with infrastructure and information security teams at prominent fund management organizations. The position requires a hands-on approach, supporting both our office-based infrastructure and AWS cloud environments, while also contributing to the strategic planning and policy development for the broader organization.

This role is based onsite, fostering a collaborative culture among all teams within our organization. You will be surrounded by experts in their fields, allowing you to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of our products and the asset management landscape, especially if you are new to this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Our sophisticated B2B solutions often necessitate integration with various third-party systems. We expect candidates to have experience in the following areas:

  • Overseeing both our high-availability office infrastructure and AWS cloud hosting environments
  • Monitoring system performance and resolving live issues
  • Continuously enhancing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Collaborating with Engineering Teams to improve application performance, scalability, and security
  • Creating and reviewing technical documentation to ensure clarity and compliance for auditing purposes

Information security is paramount to our operations, and we seek candidates with proven expertise in:

  • Establishing, implementing, and enhancing business information security protocols
  • Managing security systems in accordance with industry best practices and compliance with ISO27001 standards, GDPR, and internal policies
  • Achieving initial ISO certification and supporting ongoing audit processes
  • Collaborating with both internal and external teams to maintain a consistent security strategy
