Job Title: IT Practitioner – Application Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Systems Administrator to join our IT Product Fulfilment team at BAE Systems Submarines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our SAP systems, providing technical support, and collaborating with other teams to design and implement SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support for SAP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams to design and implement SAP systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Participate in capacity planning and change management to ensure proactive support and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Basis Administration in complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of resilient application architecture and Category zero applications.
  • Experience in client build and refresh processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of the latest SAP technologies, including Cloud and BTP.
  • Understanding of automation tooling, archiving, and DVM.
