Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountancy Practice Manager to join their successful team in Eastbourne. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional client service, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accountancy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals.
  • Accountancy Services: Provide high-quality accountancy services, including review of accounts, tax computations, and assignment management.
  • Client Support: Proactively meet and talk to clients, providing support and advice as required, and being the point of contact at the firm.
  • Trainee Support: Provide training and supervision to trainees, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Networking and Business Generation: Engage in networking and business development activities to build your client portfolio and drive business growth.
  • Reporting: Report to the Partners of the firm, providing regular updates on client activity and business performance.
Requirements
  • Accountancy Qualifications: Hold ACCA/ACA or QBE (or close to qualifications) and have demonstrable and practical experience in accountancy practice.
  • Client Relationship Skills: Possess excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Commercial Approach: Have a highly commercial approach, with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills: Have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive Approach: Be proactive, with a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver high-quality results and exceed client expectations.
  • IT Skills: Possess strong IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Teamwork: Enjoy working within a team, with a willingness to support and collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
