We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the commercial success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting to mitigate adverse financial impacts.
  • Capture costs and allocate them appropriately to ensure effective commercial management.
  • Identify, report, and escalate commercial risk to ensure appropriate mitigation is implemented.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager in determining operational commercial reporting requirements and work with the Performance Reporting & Systems team and Finance to ensure accurate, meaningful, and timely reporting.
  • Self-assure commercial data and contractual processes.
  • Anticipate sub-contracting requirements and ensure robust sub-contracts are put in place.
  • Embed commercial awareness across the alliance to enable prudent commercial decisions.
  • Establish and embed key commercial performance metrics and baselines.
  • Act as mediator in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes.
