Job Overview

SPG Resourcing is seeking an experienced Implementation Analyst to lead the implementation of pension schemes and benefit analysis across new business and internal transfer activity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading data and pension technical requirement workstreams, conducting data audits and mapping analysis, and creating benefit specifications for new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the data and pension technical requirement workstreams of new business onboarding projects.
  2. Conduct data audit and mapping analysis on all new business and bulk transfer activity to ensure accurate, timely, and secure transfer of all member data.
  3. Develop and maintain benefit specifications for new business, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective administration of the scheme.
  4. Work with system and process experts to ensure process efficiency and automation of scheme calculations for go-live of new business.
  5. Identify and implement continuous improvement in the onboarding process, leading to improvements in administration functionality and positive member outcomes.
  6. Act as subject matter expert on transferring schemes benefit structure and administration processing, analyzing all information received for the scheme during the transfer.
  7. Produce, maintain, and monitor delivery plans and processes to successfully implement or transfer business across the company, supporting the Implementation Manager as required.
  8. Ensure risk management principles are applied to all function activities, performing duties in line with the company's Information Security policy.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience of occupational pension schemes, including administration and interpretation of scheme rules.
  • Understanding of complex pensions calculations in administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of DB/DC arrangements.
  • Experience in implementing pension arrangements, including bulk transfers of DB and DC arrangements.
  • Ability to provide assistance to others in project management and change.
  • Effective communication of technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of pensions systems and administration methodology.
