About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Research Assistant to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide support to our HIV, Sexual Health and Hepatology clinical research teams and the HIV Injectable Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical research teams, including processing biological samples, arranging courier collection and shipment, and maintaining a kit inventory.
  • Assist in the checking of basic research equipment and ordering supplies as required.
  • Coordinate and collate data for the Barts Health NHS Injectables service.
  • Work across multiple services, including Clinical Trials and the HIV Injectable Service, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the team.
Requirements
  • GCSE/NVQ3 passes in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Able to undertake VDU work, with experience of data entry and working in an NHS office environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and develop working relationships with colleagues.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and typing.
