Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HIV, Hepatology and Sexual Health Clinical Research Team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the team in delivering high-quality clinical trials and research projects.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the clinical research team, including:

  • Processing biological samples and arranging courier collection and shipment
  • Assisting in the checking of basic research equipment and maintaining a kit inventory
  • Coordinating and collating data for the Barts Health NHS Injectables service

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSE/NVQ3 passes in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an NHS office environment and data entry
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills, with excellent numerical and literacy skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Basic IT skills, including Word and Excel
