Oncology Care Nurse

Saturday - Sunday - £30 per hour
Bank Holidays - £35 per hour
The above remuneration is disbursed on a monthly basis.
If you are a certified Oncology Nurse seeking the flexibility to work on an ad hoc basis that aligns with your personal schedule while still making a significant difference in the lives of patients, we have an opportunity for you.
You will be at the forefront of our healthcare services, providing care to Oncology patients either in the comfort of their homes or within our mobile units and clinics.
Your responsibilities will include conducting blood tests, toxicity evaluations, administering IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, managing pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and more.
Our commitment is to clinical excellence; therefore, we will ensure you receive all necessary support to deliver high-quality one-on-one care while enjoying the autonomy of your role.
Candidate ProfileTo excel in this position, you should be a seasoned nurse with a valid NMC PIN, possessing either a formal qualification in Oncology, a SACT passport, or in-house training to administer SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy). You should also have demonstrated competency in cannulation and venepuncture, along with experience in administering all routes of SACT.
Empathy and a high level of care are essential to assist our patients in achieving their objectives and regaining independence.
Additionally, you should be well-organized and capable of managing your own schedule effectively. Basic IT skills are necessary.
As this role involves extensive travel between patient locations, a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are mandatory.
