About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Homecare Nurse to join our team at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare Limited. As a key member of our clinical homecare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to individuals receiving chemotherapy and other oncology treatments in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments to patients in their homes, clinics, or mobile units
  • Conduct regular assessments and monitoring of patients' condition, including blood tests, toxicity assessments, and vital sign checks
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on medication management, side effects, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and other nurses, to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC PIN and current registration as a nurse in the UK
  • Experience in oncology nursing, with a focus on chemotherapy and other oncology treatments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively between patients
