Job Summary:

NHS Fife is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medicine of the Elderly team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our innovative frailty model.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of older patients with complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support the delivery of high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Acute hospital experience, preferably in a gerontological or acute medicine setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gerontological care, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
