Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role within our Regional Commercial team, focusing on a prominent heritage project in the West of Scotland. Your collaboration with the project delivery and commercial teams will be essential for the financial success of our initiatives.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing payment applications from subcontractors.
  • Preparing client payment applications.
  • Tracking and evaluating actual spending against budgeted project costs through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports (CVR).
  • Leading the management of claims and disputes to reach satisfactory resolutions.

Candidate Profile:

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is ideal for individuals who:

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of contractual frameworks, including JCT, SBCC, and NEC conditions.
  • Have a background in Main Contracting firms with experience in high-value projects.
  • Exhibit strong skills in engaging with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in managing claims and resolving disputes.
  • Are capable of mentoring and guiding junior commercial staff to support their professional growth.
