We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Arcadis. As a key member of our Energy team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial and procurement management of our clients' projects.

Role Description:

The energy landscape is rapidly evolving, and we need talented professionals like you to help us navigate this transformation. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing commercial support to our project teams, including the development of effective commercial strategies, contract procurement, and commercial administration of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Commercial and Procurement Management Team in the development of commercial strategies and contract procurement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Manage and monitor progress of variations or RFQs, and assess and value contractors' applications.
  • Administer the Early Warning process and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
  • Review contractor deliveries, monitor and report on commercial aspects of contracts, and provide advice on contract change.
Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial management and contract administration. You should have a good understanding of industry-standard procurement practices, forms of contract, and contract management systems.

Experience in the energy sector, particularly in the power and oil & gas industries, is highly desirable. You should also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
