Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CBT Therapist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a High Intensity Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and effective, evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CBT Therapist to work in a dynamic and progressive service. You will be part of a team that is committed to providing an outstanding service and erasing the stigma of mental health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in CBT and experience of working with diverse populations in a primary and secondary care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and effective, evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement service improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and education programs for staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma in CBT) or equivalent.
  • Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required.
  • Full range of skills and competencies as laid out in the competence framework for CBT (Roth and Pilling 2007).
  • Computer literate.
  • Has received training (either formal or through experience) and carried out risk assessments within scope of practice.
