Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Wirksworth. As a key member of our manufacturing site, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

About the Role:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of mechanical components, including gearboxes, motors, and conveyors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

  • A competitive salary of 39,485 + Bonus (Up to 5,715) + Overtime with earnings of 48,000 and upwards achievable.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including up to 10% pension company contribution and x3 salary death in service.

Requirements:
  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a mechanical engineering role.
  • Strong mechanical background, with experience working in automated manufacturing or production environments.
  • Knowledge of gearboxes, motors, and conveyors, as well as relevant engineering disciplines.
