Job Title: Technical Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to join our team at e-ppl Ltd in Crewe, UK. As a Technical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in defining, documenting, and completing handover of problems identified in the pre-series audit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Photograph defects found within the audit using a DSLR camera
  • Create photo packs of audit vehicles using Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Create problem description and log these within Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
  • Log and track identified issues within Microsoft Excel
  • Raise problems within KPM system
  • Facilitate handover discussions of identified problems with designated problem owners
  • Problem data collection to stratify issues e.g. gap measurements on vehicles to understand scale of problem
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will need to have a basic understanding of automotive parts which will include part names and locations. Attention to detail will also be essential, as the collection and reporting of data with regard to photo packs will be critical to defining, documenting, and handing over of problems to problem owners for resolution.

A good knowledge and understanding of using basic quality measurement tools such as gap and profile gauges to support the data collection will also be required. The ability to use Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel will also be extremely important as these will be used to create and document identified problems during the audit process.

Previous knowledge and experience of working within the automotive industry would also be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will need to have a mindset focused on quality, with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
