Position Overview

Peaple Talent is collaborating with a dynamic and award-winning software organization that is currently experiencing significant growth. They are looking to enhance their development team by bringing on board an Automation Testing Engineer. This role will involve working closely with the software development team, serving as the authority on automated testing, software robustness, and performance evaluation of software products and releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, sustain, and enhance automation testing frameworks.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Guarantee optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Act as the primary expert in testing and automation methodologies.
  • Ensure that all work has well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Manage work items and provide reports on testing activities.
  • Investigate and suggest testing tools, techniques, and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in testing containerized applications and microservices architecture.
  • Proficient in automated testing tools, particularly Cypress.
  • Experience with testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Proficient in using GitHub for version control.
  • A strong desire to learn and embrace new experiences.
  • Understanding of agile product development methodologies.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools, preferably Jira.
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools, such as Datadog.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Flutter for mobile application development.
