Disability Assessor Role
Location: Croydon
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent - full time or part time options available (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Aspect Healthcare is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to facilitating positive changes in the lives of individuals. As a Disability Assessor, you will operate independently to evaluate individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit, as part of the Department for Work and Pensions' Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with individuals experiencing various health challenges to assess the effects on their daily activities.
- Perform assessments via telephone, video conferencing, or in-person meetings.
- Analyze medical documentation and compile detailed reports.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist.
- Current NMC/HCPC registration is required.
- A minimum of one year of post-registration experience within the UK healthcare system.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
