About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Randstad. As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Individualized Lesson Plans: Develop and deliver high-quality, tailored educational experiences for students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Create a Supportive Classroom Environment: Establish a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
  • Employ Effective Teaching Strategies: Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote their development.
  • Assess and Adapt Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues and External Professionals: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support for each student.
  • Contribute to Curriculum Development: Participate in the development and enhancement of the school's SEN curriculum.
Requirements
  • A degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience working with SEN students.
  • A deep understanding of diverse special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and supportive school community.
  • A passion for continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning.
