Job Description

Job Title: Primary School SEN HLTA Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Primary School HLTA to lead our SEN nurture class and assist with the progress of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SEN nurture class and develop strategies to support children with special educational needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the needs of children with SEN are met.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for children with SEN.
  • Provide support and guidance to teachers and other staff members on SEN-related issues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in teaching and supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Experience of working in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
