Key Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Key Account Manager. As a key member of our Universal Business Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer account management and driving growth in both existing and new customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and grow customer relationships.
  • Proactively monitor customer engagement, sales, and inventory trends to provide ongoing feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to improve the customer experience throughout the entire journey.
  • Manage customer accounts, build long-term relationships, and develop account plans to drive growth.
  • Log opportunities and communication on the CRM and follow up consistently.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of prior sales account management experience in a business-to-business setting with inventory-based products.
  • Extensive account management and order processing experience, including balancing multiple tasks and customer needs simultaneously.
  • Strong skills in customer outreach, persuasive communication, fact-finding, presentation, negotiation, and closing sales.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to be flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Team player with ability to work well with supervisors, co-workers, and other departments.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with SAP experience a plus.
  • Authorization to work indefinitely in the UK without restriction or sponsorship.
