Lead Hydraulic Engineer Opportunity

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled hydraulic engineer to lead our Specialist Hydraulics team and contribute to our exciting portfolio of multimillion-pound UK Water Industry projects.

About the Role
  • Lead and develop our Specialist Hydraulics team, leveraging their collective expertise to deliver innovative solutions on a diverse range of projects.
  • Collaborate with various design discipline engineers on projects, driving critical decisions and preparing design reports that detail calculations and key findings.
  • Estimate and budget man-hours for design tasks, validating all deliverables in accordance with our Quality Assurance system.
  • Proven experience in hydraulic design within the UK Water Industry, with comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic design principles and experience collaborating with other disciplines.
  • Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics, clean and wastewater network modelling, and transient analysis.
