Principal / Associate Hydraulic Modeler / Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal or Associate Hydraulic Modeler / Engineer to join our team at Access Talent Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary consultancy, you will be responsible for leading storm overflows discharge reduction plans, flood alleviation, and environmental solution development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead model build, model maintenance, and verification projects.
  • Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
  • Ensure the quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Manage and/or support project managers to manage projects and programmes of works.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
  • Expertise in hydraulic modeling, catchment planning, and solution development.
  • Ability to review the work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.
  • Expertise in MS 365 applications, and knowledge in areas such as PowerBI and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with software such as FME, Optimatics, Ruby (or similar).
