Director of Social Media and Brand Strategy

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially-minded individual to lead our social media department and drive its growth as the Head of Social. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the social media landscape and a creative approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the social team, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Work closely with the Social Account Director on the development of the team and line manage the Social Account Director.
- Work closely with the Head of Strategy on social brief responses and ensure the successful implementation of social strategies.
- Lead on resolving client challenges, contract renewals, strategic delivery or growth through the coaching of others.
- Have a strong network and be confident in driving a pipeline of new business into the agency.
- Respond to new business briefs, effectively mobilising the team to deliver creative and innovative proposals.
- Work with the Social Account Director to spot commercial opportunities and grow the value of accounts.
- Develop social retainers and project costs based on client needs.
- Create, manage and oversee commercials.
- Be able to cultivate networks easily and excel in networking environments.
- Have big ideas and always be thinking of creative ways to drive results.
