Health and Safety Professional

Accent Group is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Heath, Safety and Facilities team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive health and safety culture across the organization.
About the Role:
- 35 hours per week
- Permanent
As our Health and Safety Manager, you will lead and inspire colleagues to ensure a safe working environment for customers and employees. You will utilize your strong stakeholder engagement skills to partner with various departments to deliver a holistic H&S function. Your expertise in developing policies, procedures, and guidance will be essential in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in health and safety management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Location:
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our Bradford or Peterborough office. Upon completion of probation, there may be opportunities for hybrid working.
Interview Process:
First stage: competency interview over Teams on the 21st/22nd October. Second stage: Behavioural Assessment, presentation, and final interview in person at our Peterborough office on Monday 28th October or Bradford on Tuesday 29th October.
