About the Role

Oceaneering is a global leader in the offshore energy industry, providing engineered services and products to support the lifecycle of oil and gas fields. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project engineering activities in support of oil & gas and renewables projects performed with Oceaneering's Offshore Projects Group (OPG).
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Perform technical tasks, including preparation of procedures, task plans, lift plans, and review of drawings and engineering deliverables.
  • Prepare project or technical reports as required by management, clients, or other stakeholders.
  • Provide input to cost estimates, schedule development, manpower requirements, and other project-related activities.
  • Support pre and post-testing of equipment, as well as repair and maintenance with the help of other support functions.
  • Plan and manage the mobilization and demobilization of equipment, rigging, and installation aids according to project requirements.
  • Support the project manager with vendor selection, create scope of work for subcontractors for project-required scopes as needed.
  • Travel offshore and perform day-to-day management of project activities.
  • Close-out and as-built report at the end of the project.
  • Liaise with discipline engineering teams to ensure engineering of subsea hardware, including development, evaluation, engineering, design, controls, procurement, and construction phases of project implementation.
  • Perform direction and oversight of engineering tasks performed by the project team of engineers.
  • Responsibility for creating and reviewing engineering procedures and specifications for compliance with design principles, applicable standards, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare design changes, specifications, schematics, and test plans for installation equipment and subsea hardware.
  • Review and/or conduct engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Review product designs, conduct, and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
  • Perform oversight of offshore operations and on-site oversight of OPG projects and subcontractors as required in a project role.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Civil, or Ocean Engineering).
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience from the subsea industry.
  • Knowledge of math, CAD, 3D CAD, 2D AutoCAD.
  • Ability to travel internationally for work scopes.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid passport.
  • Must be able to obtain: Seamen's book, Petroleum Education Council (PEC) Basic Training, Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in working offshore on subsea installations or IMR projects, both using ROVs and diving.
  • Prior experience working internationally.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and change management.
