About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Engineering Manager to join our Evolv Energies team at Xodus Group. As a key member of our Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for providing engineering leadership and expertise to our projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Engineering Leadership: Lead project engineering deliverables and people from our multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from tender to delivery.
  • Engineering Input and Collaboration: Provide engineering input into tenders and project deliverables, liaising and collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Technical Authorities, Subject Matter Experts, and other Engineering Managers.
  • Project Delivery and Management: Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with both Evolv Energies and client engineering requirements, managing interfaces across all disciplines within and outside of engineering.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Ensure necessary engineering and technical resources are assigned to projects throughout tendering and delivery, providing engineering mentoring and leadership to our multi-disciplinary teams.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer: A Chartered Engineer with demonstrable offshore engineering management expertise in the offshore renewables sector and a detailed understanding of engineering projects through Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of multi-disciplined individuals, setting clear goals and objectives, and communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation and to key stakeholders outside the organisation.
  • Technical Knowledge and Experience: Strong engineering and operational knowledge in Marine/Offshore projects and operations associated with offshore wind and ideally subsea cable projects, with the ability to interpret and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
