Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vibration Project Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Dynamic Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing consultancy services for noise and vibration management, primarily for upstream Oil and Gas, while supporting the wider business across multiple industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather vibration and dynamic stress measurement data on clients' assets both on and offshore, ensuring a consistent high standard in the service.
  • Develop relationships with customers to optimise opportunities and support the development of new business.
  • Lead and execute engineering tasks related to the provision of quality & timely proposals and contract engineering analysis, for project delivery to meet the needs of Altrad Babcock customers.
  • Manage allotted tasks to quality, time and cost related to a specific project or portfolio of projects.
  • Advise clients on dynamic integrity related scenarios, using a broad range of industry codes and guidelines to solve routine or complex problems.

Requirements

  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer or other applicable technical discipline.
  • Working knowledge of tools used to assess problems in the fields of dynamics and fatigue.
  • Experience with noise and acoustics is advantageous.
  • Experience in office and site work, ideally from a similar technical role within a relevant industry sector.
