Job Title: Claims Manager - Clinical Negligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager to join our team at NHS Resolution. As a Clinical Negligence Specialist, you will be responsible for managing claims from commencement to conclusion, ensuring that they are resolved fairly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, technical knowledge of claims management, and the ability to draft complex documents and correspondence. You will also have a strong understanding of current law and relevant statutes in the clinical negligence area.

NHS Resolution is a not-for-profit organization that provides expertise to the NHS on resolving concerns and disputes fairly. We share learning for improvement and preserving resources for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of complex and non-complex claims from commencement to conclusion
  • Conduct investigations, quantification, and negotiation of claims
  • Draft complex documents and correspondence
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with external organizations
  • Contribute to the development of the NHS Resolution strategy
