Job Title: Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Assistant Headteacher to join our team at Thomas Ashton School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our curriculum, particularly at Key Stage 3, and contributing to the overall success of our students.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies to enhance student outcomes
  • Lead and manage teaching and learning initiatives to improve student engagement and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver staff development programs
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
  • Support the Executive Headteacher in leading the school

Thomas Ashton School is a community special school in Hyde, Tameside, providing high-quality educational experiences for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties. Requirements:
