Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recovery Practitioner to join our team. As a Recovery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing psychosocial treatments to Service Users on an initial temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in their therapy or recuperation process, ensuring they receive the appropriate intervention at the right time.
- Conduct screening, evaluation, and planning for recovery, and refer clients to relevant services as needed.
- Minimize the harm caused by drugs and alcohol to clients and the community through effective interventions.
- Act as an advocate for partnership service access, ensuring clients receive the support they need.
- Support service users in their social (re)integration, promoting self-determination, resilience, recovery, and peer support.
- Provide structured information to service users in group settings at different phases of their recovery.
Requirements:
- Hold a thorough understanding of substance abuse issues or have previous experience working in a related field.
- Have a solid working knowledge of mental health services, interventions, and best practices.
- Be able to manage change effectively, prioritizing the interests of service consumers.
