Investment Adviser Job Description

Randstad Financial & Professional is seeking a skilled Investment Adviser to join our team. As an Investment Adviser, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance to high net worth individuals, families, and business owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Establish a strong client base and foster long-term relationships through personalized service and advice.
  • Investment Planning and Portfolio Management: Understand clients' investment plans and objectives to advise on portfolio construction, including asset allocation, tactical shifts, and security selection.
  • Market Monitoring and Adjustments: Monitor and adjust investments based on current market conditions to ensure optimal returns.
  • Financial Needs Management: Manage and advise clients on investing their assets and meeting their financial needs.
  • Comprehensive Reviews and Strategic Advice: Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial portfolios and provide quality advice on strategic investments.
  • New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities from existing client relationships.
  • Asset Conversion and Investment Actions: Convert non-active assets into managed assets and follow through on approved investment actions.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain proper documentation of investment actions and stay up-to-date with investment products.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold required qualifications and abide by the standards set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Investment Advisor position.
  • Preferred Qualifications: CISI-Level 4 Investment Advisor Diploma, Securities and Derivatives diplomas, FIA/FFA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, and investment vehicles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and selling skills. Profound knowledge of MS Office and Bloomberg.
