POSITION:
Safety and Well-Being Coordinator
Contract Outside IR35, 6 months

Addison Project is seeking a contractor to deliver Health & Safety Services for an onshore construction initiative within the process industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate design documentation to ensure safe and effective installation practices.
  • Support the development of the construction schedule.
  • Aid in the establishment of health and safety management protocols on-site, including routine safety inspections.
  • Oversee contractor safety personnel.
  • Execute the CDM Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
  • Coordinate daily SIMOPs for installation teams, encompassing work planning, forecasting, inter-trade collaboration, progress tracking, and reporting, along with updates on the construction timeline.
  • Generate weekly Safety Observation Reports and monthly safety assessments.

Proven experience in Health and Safety Management within Onshore UK Construction Projects in the Process Sector (Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or COMAH sites) is essential. This position is not suitable for candidates lacking this background.


  • Required NEBOSH certification.
  • Proven track record in reviewing, drafting, adhering to, and advising on-site teams regarding current Health & Safety regulations and practices.
  • Conducting Health & Safety Audits.
  • Strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
