Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement HSE Policies and Procedures
- Promote Health & Safety Awareness throughout the company, ensuring a culture of safety and well-being.
- Maintain the Health & Safety Management System, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Safe Plant, Machinery, and Handling of Substances, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing controls to mitigate hazards.
- Maintain Up-to-Date Risk/COSHH/Manual Handling Assessments, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
- Keep Accident Records and Present Safety Data, analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Coordinate Health & Safety Training, developing and delivering training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
- Conduct Health & Safety Audits and Inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare Monthly Health & Safety Reports, providing management with accurate and timely information to inform decision-making.
- Maintain ISO 18001 Certification, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs, enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees to support the company's health, safety, and environmental goals.
- Implement Sustainability and Energy-Saving Initiatives, reducing the company's environmental impact and improving its sustainability.
- Oversee Pollution Control, Waste Management, Recycling, and Renewable Energy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Audit and Report on Environmental Performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to reduce the company's environmental impact.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:
- Good Standard of Education
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety
- Minimum 5 Years of Health & Safety Experience
- Team Player with Strong Communication Skills
- Self-Starter with Initiative
