About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Director to lead our Menswear design department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the creative direction of our menswear brand, working closely with our Co-Founder and Head of Menswear to develop and implement design strategies that align with our brand vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Set the overall design direction for our menswear brand, ensuring that our designs are on-trend and meet the high standards of our customers.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of designers and freelancers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Project Management: Oversee the design process, from research and development to production, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other departments, including Womenswear Design, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Design Experience: Proven experience in a design leadership role, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to drive creative direction and manage design teams.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CAD, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other design software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and interpret business data and make informed decisions.
