Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team at Cambian Scarborough School.

About the Role:

  • Provide support to pupils with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties in a small, bespoke class setting.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation and delivery, and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to pupil support.
  • Support pupils with daily living skills, personal care and emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment.

About Us:

Cambian Scarborough School is an independent day school providing education and care to up to 20 pupils aged 8-18 with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the young people and service users within our care. All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference checks.
