Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Cambian Scarborough School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
  • Provide one-on-one support or small group instruction to students, ensuring effective engagement and understanding.
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor and assess students' progress, addressing any learning barriers.
  • Help create and maintain a positive and structured learning environment that fosters independence and confidence.
  • Support students during activities, including breaks, lunchtimes, and school events.
