McGregor Boyall is a prominent global hedge fund that emphasizes a technology-driven methodology in trading. The integration of computer science and quantitative finance has been fundamental to the organization’s ethos as it navigates the markets across various liquid assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a vital contributor to the Cryptocurrency trading desk, developing and refining the essential technology framework for systematic trading.
- Design and implement Front Office systems for algorithmic trading, encompassing Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), risk assessment engines, reconciliation processes, and connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to deploy, maintain, and automate continuous trading strategies.
No previous experience in Cryptocurrency is required; however, candidates must possess a background in financial services.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of experience as a Python Developer or Quantitative Analyst within a major investment bank, hedge fund, or asset management firm.
- Experience in systematic trading is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, AWS, or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) methodologies.
- Strong understanding of large-scale, intricate trading systems.
