Job Opportunity: Assistant Production Manager
Our client, a reputable food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to join their team.
About the RoleAs an Assistant Production Manager, you will play a key role in driving forward best-in-class manufacturing performance. You will be responsible for managing the performance of the team, ensuring that product output, H&S, Food Safety, and Quality aspects are being adhered to and running at the optimal level.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the performance of the team to ensure optimal product output, H&S, Food Safety, and Quality
- Drive forward best-in-class manufacturing performance
- Ensure compliance with food manufacturing regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the production leadership team to achieve business objectives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production or food manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive understanding of food manufacturing, preferably in a semi-automated environment
- Understanding of automated manufacturing technology, including fault-finding and problem-solving
- Food Hygiene certification
