Production Manager Assistant

Job Description
Our client, a reputable food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the performance of the production team to ensure optimal product output, H&S, Food Safety, and Quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Head of Production to drive forward best-in-class manufacturing performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production or food manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of food manufacturing, preferably in a semi-automated environment.
- Understanding of automated manufacturing technology, including fault-finding and problem-solving.
- Food Hygiene certification.
- Availability to work 8 am-4 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover shifts as required.
