Our client, a reputable food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance of the production team to ensure optimal product output, H&S, Food Safety, and Quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Production to drive forward best-in-class manufacturing performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production or food manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food manufacturing, preferably in a semi-automated environment.
  • Understanding of automated manufacturing technology, including fault-finding and problem-solving.
  • Food Hygiene certification.
  • Availability to work 8 am-4 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work additional hours when required.
