The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Charge Hand to support our Shift Supervisor and Warehouse Manager in the effective management and supervision of shift operations. This includes distributing workload among Warehouse Operatives, including agency labor, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate IT systems to manage staff on shift and ensure effective warehouse operations.
- Ensure warehouse supervisor is informed of operational issues that may impact service delivery or customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Meet expected hourly output and control stock reworking and decanting as required.
- Ensure accurate receiving, picking, and dispatch processes.
- Monitor and control inventory locations and accuracy.
