The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to provide leadership and support for a team of direct reports in the warehouse on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will establish themselves as a key player in the wider Operational Management team, planning, delegating, and monitoring the workload across all warehouse functions within their area to meet the required operational service level.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and support for a team of direct reports in the warehouse
- Establish a safe and efficient working environment
- Plan, delegate, and monitor the workload across all warehouse functions
- Drive forward positive changes in the company culture, team performance, and operational processes
- Advocate for the Knowles Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance of processes at all times
- Manage and support any short or long-term absences from the team
- Manage any conduct and performance issues from the team
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Warehouse environment
- Experience with using WMS systems
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-sufficiency, ability to work on own initiative, and to tight deadlines
- Good time keeping, highly organized, and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of relevant Health & Safety practices
- Excellent numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Competence with Microsoft Excel and Word
