Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Irwin and Colton - HSE Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and implementing health and safety initiatives across multiple sites in the UK and Ireland.

  • Leading and mentoring teams to enhance health and safety capabilities and build a strong safety culture
  • Improving safety awareness across all levels of the business and demonstrating your ability to influence and motivate
  • Engaging with contractors, regulators, and agencies to represent the company and enhance problem-solving skills in safety management

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or shipping
  • Professional qualifications such as a NEBOSH Diploma or working towards it, and IOSH membership
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation
  • Enthusiasm and positivity, with a passionate and proactive approach to health and safety
