About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Apprenticeship Performance Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programs, driving learner success, and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the performance management of our team, ensuring that contractual targets and objectives are met in terms of timely success rates, non-starters, referrals, and progressions.
  • Direct responsibility for the recruitment, management, and support of a team of Apprenticeship Tutors, working across various sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive learner engagement, retention, and success, ensuring that all learners follow individualized pathways and maximize their potential.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive growth, while ensuring that all activities align with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with our compliance, finance, and administration teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the learner experience, from application to completion.
  • Conduct regular observations of teaching and learning in the field, providing feedback and coaching to our Apprenticeship Tutors to ensure consistency of processes and practices.
  • Monitor the delivery of functional skills, supporting our Apprenticeship Tutors to ensure that learners develop their English and maths skills and achieve the required levels.
  • Be responsible for program performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that all targets are met and exceeded.

About You:

  • Proven experience of driving quality learning, including working to and achieving learner start and completion targets.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of apprenticeships and funding streams, with a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements.
  • Proven experience of working within a similar operations/performance manager role, with recent experience of managing a team of assessors delivering on the new standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work with e-portfolios and various software platforms.
  • Confident and professional, with the ability to work with people at all levels and develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Solid occupational experience within an educational/training environment, preferably in early years or teaching.
