About the Position
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Facilities Supervisor. You will be accountable for the efficient operation of the ancillary services team, overseeing catering, maintenance, transportation, domestic services, and recreational activities within our care facility.
With effective leadership of a skilled team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural standards, fostering a safe and well-maintained environment that offers high-quality social and recreational activities for our residents.
This role is diverse, requiring you to ensure that the catering team provides a high-quality and cost-effective service while adhering to budget constraints. You will conduct risk assessments and implement the HACCP analysis system to ensure Health and Safety compliance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain an effective maintenance schedule, ensuring that safety checks are performed within required timeframes.
Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring that there are adequately trained drivers and escorts to meet the transportation needs of the service. Cleaning and laundry services will also fall under your purview, ensuring that cleanliness and health and safety standards are consistently met.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven supervisory experience, with the ability to effectively train, coach, and inspire a team.
- Experience managing within a budget.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Experience in planning and organizing activities.
- A full, clean driving license where driving is necessary.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred).
