Bloomberg's Legal & Compliance Department is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Compliance Lead to join their team in London. This role will focus on ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations, developing comprehensive training programs, and managing privacy risks across the company's global operations.

You will collaborate closely with the Legal team, business stakeholders, and engineers to address privacy concerns and drive innovation within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in data privacy compliance, experience leading regulatory projects, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and support for the implementation of the Privacy Program.
  • Lead and execute complex regulatory compliance projects related to data privacy.
  • Oversee the efficient management of Data Subject Requests.
  • Conduct thorough Data Privacy Impact Assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Partner with business units and support functions to analyze data processing activities and ensure compliance.
  • Translate legal requirements into actionable privacy program deliverables and policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust privacy compliance processes and controls.
  • Track and report on key privacy and compliance metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Implement and manage data privacy compliance tools and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in data privacy compliance.
  • In-depth expertise in data privacy laws and regulations globally.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for contributing to a global team and driving continuous improvement.
  • A law degree is preferred but not mandatory.
