Company Overview:
Pertemps Bond, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, particularly within industrial automation, marine, and rail transit industries, is on the lookout for a Supplier Quality Specialist to enhance their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in sourcing new suppliers, assessing product samples, improving risk management strategies, and promoting sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

Position Details:
  • Salary: £35K-£40K (commensurate with experience)
  • Working Hours: 37.75 hours per week
  • Holidays: 33 days inclusive of statutory leave
  • Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus
  • Development: Opportunities for training and international travel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and authorize suppliers, manage supplier partnerships, and enhance the supplier network
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate new products into the supply chain
  • Ensure adherence to product and project documentation standards
  • Oversee the supplier approval process and assess capabilities and risks
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive process enhancements


Requirements:
  • Solid grasp of electrical and mechanical engineering concepts
  • Exceptional data analysis and technical presentation abilities
  • Previous experience in supplier quality management roles
  • Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies
  • Demonstrated success in supplier evaluation and management
  • Strong communication skills
